Henry (Hal) Z Shelton, Jr. is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of USEC Inc. He is responsible for USEC’s finance, human resources and administration functions.

Prior to joining USEC in 1993, Mr. Shelton served as vice president-finance and director for a Sunoco, Inc. subsidiary, Sun International Exploration and Production Company, a worldwide petroleum exploration and production business headquartered in London, England.

Earlier in his 26-year career at Sunoco, Inc., Mr. Shelton was vice president-finance and director for Sun Refining and Marketing Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a business involved in gasoline, chemical and lubrication oil manufacturing, transportation, marketing and trading. Previous to this position, he was vice president-finance and director for Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Company.

Mr. Shelton holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and an Honors Diploma from the University of Vienna, Austria.
