BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2005--Charles Yulish, vice president corporate communications of USEC Inc. (NYSE:USU), will retire as of September 23, 2005.
Yulish joined the Company in 1995 and has been responsible for external and internal communications during the operation of USEC as a federal corporation and after its privatization in 1998 as an investor owned company. During this time, he has been the principal spokesperson for the Company.

He has also been a creative force responsible for the successful branding of major corporate programs such as Megatons to Megawatts and the American Centrifuge. Yulish's service at USEC caps a 50-year career in nuclear energy, beginning with radioisotopes research and leading to positions with the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, the Atomic Industrial Forum (now the Nuclear Energy Institute) and head of several international public relations firms specializing in energy communications.
